With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brian Blackwell of Marion, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 6, 2025 at the age of 51. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Blackwell and Evelyn Blackwell; and his grandparents, Sarah, William Gross, Lettye and Jones Gross.
He is survived by: his children, Kaleb Blackwell (Angelina) and Nova Johnson Blackwell; his girlfriend Kayla Johnson; his siblings, Kenneth Blackwell, Jeffrey Blackwell, Rhonda Blackwell (Daniel Hess) and Tanya Spencer; his aunt Liz Parks; his uncles, Joe Gross and William "Billy" Gross; his brother-in-law Michael Johnson; his pet Hazel; and his close friends, Preston Miller and Leann Perry.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bradley's Funeral Home Chapel (938 N Main St, Marion, VA 24354). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
