He is survived by: his nickname Pete; his siblings, Robert (Juliette), Loretta Blevins (Cecil) and Greg (Stacy); his children, Mike Sawyers and Missy Thomas; his granddaughter Rowan Hollyfield (Thomas); his former wife Jean; his nieces and nephews, Debbie, Lynn, Olivia, Elise, Bobby, Steve, Adam, John and Jason; and his caregiver Sandy Dennison. He is also survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews; several cousins.
