She was predeceased by: her aunt Jeanette Danielle Gibbs. She is survived by: her parents, A. J. Sims and Johnnie Marie Hood; her brother John Arnold Sims; and her grandparents, Arnold, Jane Sims, Debora Stines and John Gibbs.
