He was predeceased by: his mother Rose Brewer Powers; his children, Tracie Lynne Powers and Scottie Ryan Powers; his siblings, Lloyd Powers, Stella Powers and Sharon Powers Billings; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Russell Powers, Dickie Boyles and Jimmy Boyles.
He is survived by: his wife Patty Boyles Powers; his son Rodney Neal Powers (Teresa); his grandchildren, Dillan Powers and Madison Powers; his grandson-in-law Dylon; his siblings, J. C. Powers, Lee Powers (Donna), Velma Doss (Doug), Karen Schyphers (Larry) and Janice Blevins (Ted); his sisters-in-law, Carolyn "Holly" Powers and Carolyn Powers; his close friends, Gene and Pam Blevins (family: John, Johnnie Wyrick, Drew, Chelsea Griffin, Mike, Deana Griffin, Jimmy, Nancy Manuel); Emily. He is also survived by family.
