It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie Dean Edwards Sr. of Marion, Virginia, who passed away on April 23, 2024, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Ernest Hicks; his grandmother Ruth Parks; his uncle Michael Parks; his aunt Hattie Cullop; and his close friend Johanna Stacy.

He is survived by : his wife Jessica James Edwards; his mother Zetta Hicks (Norman Anderson); his children, Dalton Edwards, Isaac Edwards, Eddie Edwards, Jr., Levi Edwards, Maverick Edwards and Isabella Edwards; his grandson Gauge Edwards; his parents-in-law, Melissa Parks and Rick James; his siblings, Chad Hicks (Anna), Shena Stamper (Michael), Emily Moro (Louis), Jeannie Hicks, Bo, Dawn Sheets (Mark), Robin Evans (Michael), Rachel Beaty and Billy; and his close friend Brian Hayes. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Bradley's Funeral Home Chapel (938 N Main St, Marion, VA 24354).
