He was predeceased by: his father Dwight Otis Baker; his wife Reba Clark Baker; his grandson Dustin Shawn Baker; and his brothers, George Baker and Letcher Joe Baker.
He is survived by: his children, Glenn Lee Baker, Jr. (Reba) of Chilhowie, VA, Kathy C. Vance of Lenoir, NC and James Ray Baker (Sonya) of Troutdale, VA; and his sisters, Lorraine Plummer, Virginia Parsons and Zettia Davis. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
