He was predeceased by: his daughter Sherry; and his close friend Dean Parks. He is survived by: his wife Bessie Evans; his children, Jeff Evans, Susie Price and Tim Evans; his sisters, Lucy Prater, Janie Evans and Dorothy Cooper; and his grandchildren, Jeremy, Melody, Andrea, Kelly, Jonathon and Alyssa. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bradley's Funeral Home Chapel (938 N Main St, Marion, VA 24354). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Rose Cemetery (10069 Crescent Rd, Glade Spring, VA 24340).
