With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harvey Scott Anderson of Marion, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 21, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vance Anderson and Susie Anderson; his wife Sadie Garrick; his daughter Donna Anderson; and his siblings, Dwight Anderson, Lucille Shuler, Imagene Sexton and Norma Davis.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Self (George); his stepchildren, Patty Medley, Jesse Rogers, Helen Rose, John Garrick (Hope) and Mark Garrick (Julie); and his siblings, Mack Anderson (Suanne), Jeff Anderson, Nancy Anderson, Nita Stone, Porky and Cyndi Sage. He is also survived by several grandchildren and step grandchildren.
