He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Sims and Betty Sims; his brothers, Gary Michael Sims and John Clinton Sims; and his grandparents, Manuel, Rebecca Jane Sims, James and Elma Jean Goodman.
He is survived by: his brother Joseph "Joe" Simms (April) of Rural Retreat; and his nieces, Kenzie Simms and Kylie Simms.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fraziers' Seaver-Brown Chapel (237 E Main St, Marion, VA 24354).
