He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Pickle and Minnie Elizabeth Pickle; his brothers, Roger, Bobby, Kenny and David; and his father-in-law Richard Romans.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Pickle; his daughters, Missy Pickle (Craig), Chellie Davidson (Tony), Teena Smithnosky (Bob) and Julie Nottingham (Brent); his sister Linda Mitchell (Roger); his grandchildren, Casey, Savannah Hardin, Re Re, Mary, Sophia, Bobby Smithnosky, Will and Camille Nottingham; his sister-in-law Sue Pickle; his mother-in-law Thelma Romans; his siblings-in-law, Rick Romans (Angela) and Janet Murphy; and his niece Leighann. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the John and Sherry's Home. The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Francis Marion VFW Post 4667 (861 Goolsby St, Marion, VA 24354).
