He was predeceased by : his parents, John Farmer and Ruth Medley Farmer; and his siblings, James Farmer and Barbara Hagy. He is survived by : his wife Patty Farmer; his children, Travis, Traci Poston, Stephanie Walters (Marty), Chris Farmer (Stephanie) and Corey Farmer (Jenny); his brother Johnny Farmer (Joyce); and his grandchildren, Corbin Farmer, Kyra Farmer, Emma Walters, Miranda Walters, Matthew Walters, Jeremiah Walters, Braiden Gore, Karson Gore and Stephanie Poston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
