It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Minnie Mae Scott Dillman (Marion, Virginia), who passed away on February 16, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Scott and Cora Atwell Scott; her son Freddie Curtis "Bobby" Dillman; and her brothers, Lee, Marvin, Junior, Luther, James "Toots", Hobert and Fred Scott.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mildred "Sissie" Payne (Cliff) of Dublin, VA, Betty "Bootsie" Waring of Marion, VA and Tracy Sizemore (Cam Blevins) of Marion, VA; and her grandchildren, Ricky Church, Robert Church (Lori), Lori Yarber Smith, Bobby Yarber II, Brandi Jo Bowman (Brian), Bridget Sizemore and Ann McGhee (Garland). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; and many, many nieces and nephews.
Minnie Mae "Granny" Scott Dillman, 93, passed peacefully at home on February 16, 2026, surrounded by her family, after years' long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
