He was predeceased by: his parents, Blaine Dancy and Olivene Dancy; his former wife Helen Dancy; and his children-in-law, Bridget Dancy and Danny Reynolds.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sue Dancy of Marion, VA; his daughter Debbie Dancy Reynolds of Marion, VA; his stepdaughter April Lyles of Chilhowie, VA; his son Thomas Wayne Dancy (Glenda) of Rich Valley, VA; his sisters, Judy Blevins of Marion, VA and Barbara Neitch of Marion, VA; his sister-in-law Linda Larmer; his brothers, Jim Dancy of Marion, VA, Sam Dancy (Brenda) of Marion, VA and Joe Dancy (Tammy) of Chilhowie, VA; his brother-in-law Bobby Combs (Susan); his grandchildren, Kathy Reynolds, Andy, Kim Coe and Michael; and his great grandchildren, Aaron Nunley and Madeline Harris. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 at 1:45 PM at the Fraziers' Seaver-Brown Funeral Service and Crematory (237 E Main St, Marion, VA 24354). A graveside service was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Thomas Cemetery (607 Thomas Bridge Rd, Marion, VA 24354).
