It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roy Sanderson of Marion, Virginia, born in Florence, Alabama, who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Sanderson and Venola Hendon Sanderson; his brothers, Marvin, Frank, Lawrence, Julius, Charles, Robert and Ray Samuel; his stepson Shane D. Keith; and his stepgrandson Richard Zane Blevins.

He is survived by : his wife Wanda Tilson Sanderson; his children, Roger, Bruce, Belinda and Danny Ray Sanderson; his grandchildren, Dougie, Shaun, Randy, Destiny, Emily, Cali, Isaiah, Brooke Ann Sanderson, Pashence Sanderson Myers and Jaime Sanderson Lamb; his siblings-in-law, David, John D., Darrell Tilson, Marcia Tilson, Lavina Gass and Lois Tilson; his stepsons, Rick Blevins (Mariann) and Jeff Blevins (April); and his stepgrandchildren, Callie Piplico, J. Mellinger, Ethan, Cameron and Nolan Blevins. He is also survived by Several great-grandchildren; step-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Seaver-Brown Chapel (237 E Main St, Marion, VA 24354). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
