Ruth Versaw Remus Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Versaw Remus (Marion, Virginia), who passed away on November 8, 2025 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Ruth is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Ruth's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Versaw and Lily Versaw; her siblings, Robert Versaw and Anna Mae Remus; and her granddaughter Julie Suffel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Remus Hall of Salisbury, N. C. and Peggy Delp (David) of Montpelier, OH. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; six nieces and nephews.
