It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve D. Ward (Marion, Virginia), who passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ward and Georgia Ward Matney; his stepfather William Jennings Matney; his siblings, Tommy, Danny, Roger Ward, Patricia Diane Marshall, Donnie and Judy; his mother-in-law Eva A. Jones Henderson; and his brother-in-law Curtis Warren.

He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ann Ward; his children, Debbie Mullins and Eric Ward (Michelle); his brothers-in-law, Johnny Marshall and Joe Allen Warren; his brother David Ward; his sister-in-law Kathy Ward; his grandchildren, Ashlyn Jones (Nathan), Rachel Sheets, Grayson Ward, Savannah Ward, Phoenix Ward and Mazzy Martin; his great grandchildren, Karalena Jones and Alayna Jones; and his close friends, Ronnie Preston and Lewis Shortt. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
