He was predeceased by: his mother Hattie Parks Cullop; his brother Michael Parks; and his cousin Eddie Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Parks; his stepchildren, Jessica Edwards, Ricky James and Randy Siddles; his father James Parks, Sr.; his siblings, Lisa Reedy and James Parks, Jr.; his grandson Eddie Dean Edwards, Jr.; and his nephews, Jeremy Meek and William Meek.
