Thelma Dillman Romans Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thelma Dillman Romans in Marion, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 27, 2026 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Dillman, Sr. and Hattie Dillman; her husband Lemual Richard Romans Sr.; her children, Peggy Sprinkle and Gary Romans; and her son-in-law John Pickle.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Pickle, Janet Murphy (Robert), Lemuel R. Romans Jr. (Angelia) and Allen Romans; her son-in-law E. T. Sprinkle; and her brother Larry Dillman (Linda). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Stone Memorial Presbyterian Church, 763 McIntyre Lane, Atkins VA, 24311 in care of Steve Tilson. Donations can also be made out to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
