He is survived by: his daughter Avery Jernigan (Andrew) of Marion, VA; his caregiver Amy Jernigan; his siblings, Sandee York of Caney, KS, Wendy Raynor (Patrick Bovin) of Marion, VA and Benjamin Jernigan of Macon, GA; his nieces and nephews, Devon York, Sarah Garcia (Dual), Katherine Raynor (Steven) and Robert Isaac Raynor; and his close friends, George Hendricks, Neal Hallford, Patricia Murphy, Robin Hunter and Mara Loggans.
