She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Rogers and Catherine Rogers; her siblings, Raymond Rogers and Ruby Newton; and her grandson Dustin Carter Shepard.

She is survived by: her husband Bobby Lee Carter; her children, Cathy Carter (Lionel), Bobby (BO) and Carter (Maggie); her grandchildren, Savannah Shepard and Tori Shepard; her great grandchild Brycen Miller; and her siblings, Kathy Lawson, Pearl Nelson (Rick), Delores Carter (Jimmy), Lanna Jean Woolfrey, Shirley Heavner, Earl Rogers, Glen Rogers and Leonard Rogers. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
