He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lewis Dillard and Kate Norman Dillard; his son Victor Levon Dillard; and his sisters, Catherine Moyer (Bishop Aaron Moyer), Evelyn Hobson and Christine Kellam (Bishop Robert Kellam).
He is survived by: his wife Arnette; his daughters, Sandra D. Dillard of Greensboro, NC and Torsheda D. Ransom (Kirby Ransom) of Wake Forest, NC; his daughter-in-law Karen J. Dillard of Greensboro, NC; his grandchildren, Kirby Ransom, Jr. of Wake Forest, NC, Karter Ransom of Wake Forest, NC, Karson Ransom of Wake Forest, NC, Victor Dillard, II of Forney, TX and Kiana D. Foddrell of Greensboro, NC; and his siblings, Edna Delores Doggett of San Francisco, CA, Joe Dillard (Iniease) of Martinsville, VA and John Edward Dillard (Carolyn) of Richmond, VA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 12:30 PM and from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
