He was predeceased by: his parents, Reverend Theo B. Marsh and Sadie Dones Marsh; his son Edmund Marsh; and his brother Bryant R. Marsh. He is survived by: his wife Jeannie Montgomery Marsh; his daughter Shaneil V. Marsh of Martinsville, VA; his grandchildren, Damarious Marsh of Martinsville, VA and Shanyia Kelly of Martinsville, VA; his brothers, Julian L. Marsh (Joan) of Richmond, VA, Timothy M. Marsh (Drucilla) of Richmond, VA and Victor R. Marsh (Patricia) of Springfield, VA; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Thompson, Rose Mcelveen, Mildred Montgomery and Shirley Marsh. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hairston Funeral Home (301 Fayette St, Martinsville, VA 24112). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the C. R. V. Memorial Chapel at Hairston Funeral Home (301 Fayette St, Martinsville, VA 24112).
