He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Parke Schelling and Patsy Ruth Gehman Schelling; his son Joey Schelling; his brothers, Gerald Eugene Schelling, David Thomas Schelling, William Gehman Schelling and John Parke Schelling; and his brothers-in-law, Thomas Edwin Bailey and Eddie Blalock.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Guilliams Schelling; his son Josh Schelling (Magen); his grandchildren, Austin Schelling, Hannah Schelling, Dylan Renick, Molly Renick and Colt Renick; his siblings, Patricia Jane Bailey (Murray), Rebecca Catherine Blalock (Kimrey), Sarah Ann Ritchie Piechota and Timothy Andrew Schelling; his sister-in-law Mary Blosser Schelling; and his pet Diesel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
