He is survived by: his wife Bonita Brooks Smith; his daughters, Latonya Smith of Martinsville, VA and Natasha Henderson (Sylvester) of Richmond, VA; and his sisters, Geneva Jones, Diane Smith, Thelma Wright (Vonronstead) and Pauline Wimbush (Alonzo) of Bassett, VA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
