She is survived by: her niece Barbara Suhulze (Norman); her nephews, Gene Parker, Everett Long III (Nancy) and Timothy Lutte; her sons, Michael Floyd Powell and Matt Morris Powell; her daughter-in-law Peggy Sue Powell; her grandchildren, Steven P. Powell, Jaime P. Danenhower (Tyler) and Madison E. Powell (David); her great grandchildren, Alyanah Powell, Gracie R. Danenhower, Millie J. Danenhower and Riley J. Powell; her nieces, Tammy Averell (John) and Karen Justinson (Johnny); and her close friends, Brenda Wyatt and Deborah Powell.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Norris Funeral Services & Crematory - Martinsville Chapel (1500 Kings Mountain Rd, Martinsville, VA 24115). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Roselawn Burial Park (103 Clearview Dr, Martinsville, VA 24112).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Make A Wish Foundation in Eileen's honor.
