She is survived by: her children, Carolyn E. Dilworth (Andrew) of Las Vegas, NV, Angela G. Niblett (Felix) of Martinsville, VA, Charles D. Farrell and George A. Farrell of Boston, MA; and her sister Shirley Shannon. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild.
Viewing was held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hairston Funeral Home (301 Fayette St, Martinsville, VA 24112). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul High Street Baptist Church (401 Fayette St, Martinsville, VA 24112).
