He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Lou Barnes Pigg of Bassett, Virginia; and his parents, William Taylor Pigg and Cathleen Vernon Pigg. He is survived by: his children, John Taylor Pigg of Charlotte and Cathleen Pigg of Richmond, Virginia; his granddaughters, Jane Liles Pigg and Lucy Taylor Pigg; and his stepmother Lena Pigg.
