We are sad to announce that on May 12, 2025, at the age of 85, Jay Harrison Jr. of Martinsville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Paul Harrison, Sr. and Evelyn B. Morris Harrison; his daughter Suzanne Harrison; and his stepson John "Buzzy" Duff. He is survived by: his wife Myrtle Sue Bishop Harrison; his son Steve Harrison (Anne); his stepdaughter Gwendolen Cartwright (Philip); his sister Nina Rea (Ted); his grandchildren, Lurinda Harrison (Brandon), Benjamin Harrison, Andrew Harrison and John Caleb Duff; and his great grandchildren, Noah Duff, Noel Duff, Bailey Harrison and Nathan LaPrade. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
