He is survived by: his wife Bernadette Louise Carter; his children, Jerrold Wesley Carter (Lavern) and Kimberly Nicole Joseph (Robert); his mother Ruby Fitzgerald Carter; and his sisters, Jennifer Dale Harris (Markell), Felecia Harris (Kenny), Rowena Carter and Tanya Williams.
