He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Williams Dillon and Mary Hutcherson Dillon; his wife Lillian M. Dillon; and his siblings, James W. Dillon, Pete Dillon, Maggie Ruth Dillon, Lucy Dillon Moore and Nancy Dillon Cruise.
He is survived by: his children, John H. Dillon, Jr. of Martinsville, Virginia and Deborah Dillon of Martinsville, Virginia; his granddaughter Sara Moore of Ridgeway, Virginia; and his great grandchild Phoenix Moore. He is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
