She is survived by: her husband Jaris T. Lanier; her sons, Anthony S. Lanier (Angie Syreeta) of Martinsville, Elder Cory J. Lanier (Ashley Doreen) of Manassas Park and Travis T. Lanier (Ashley) of Hurt, Virginia; her grandchildren, Nina Lanier, Myles Lanier, Alexander Lanier, Casandra Lanier, Gregory Charles Lanier of Tyrelle, Austin Lanier, Aaliyah Lanier, Amber Lanier and Amari Simone Lanier; her sister Linda Sue Belcher of Martinsville, Virginia; her sisters-in-law, Jackie Miller (Chris) and Karen Jones (Amos); and her sibling's children, Monica Anderson (Jack), Takiera El-Amin (Rhajee), Monique Nikki Glenn (Jason) and Nicole Land (Ian). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, bonus daughters and sons, extended family, church family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home (668 Zion Rd, Gretna, VA 24557). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shockoe Missionary Baptist Church (857 Java Rd, Java, VA 24565). A burial was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at the Shockoe Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery (857 Java Rd, Java, VA 24565).
