She was predeceased by: her stepfather Steve Mears; and her grandparents, Clifford, Virginia Harris and Katie Via Lane. She is survived by: her parents, Mark A. Johnson and Karol Johnson Mears; her significant other Eric Calfee; her sons, Nathaniel Blaine Nuckles and Logan Stone Calfee; her sister April Cobb (Matt Taylor); her aunts, Valerie Kyle (Michael), Lana Lane and Tammy Wagoner; her uncle Vance Johnson (Gail); her stepmother Clara Johnson; and her niece Cierra Bradshaw (Shannon). She is also survived by extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bassett Funeral Service (3665 Fairystone Park Hwy, Bassett, VA 24055). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ross Harbor Methodist Church (6260 Elamsville Rd, Stuart, VA 24171). A burial was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at the same location.
Kimberly had a great love for animals, and in her memory, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Martinsville & Henry County SPCA by mailing contributions to 132 Joseph Martin Hwy, Martinsville, VA 24112.
