It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maggie Gravely (Martinsville, Virginia), who passed away on July 17, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gravely and Annie Mae Turner Gravely; her husband Sam Henry Gravely; her daughter Bertha Tolliver; and her siblings, Mattie Eastland, Douglas Gravely and Dennis Gravely.
She is survived by: her son Gary Gravely of Axton; her siblings, Debra Gravely of Martinsville, Sally Trotter (David) of Rocky Mount, Joseph Gravely (Gloria) of Martinsville and Jimmie Gravely (Margaret) of Roanoke; and her grandchildren, Bridget Tolliver, Toya Tolliver and Keith Tolliver. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Service Chapel (1425 Greensboro Rd, Martinsville, VA 24112). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
