She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Leonard and Bessie Eva Young Ramsey; her husband Coy B Frith Sr.; her son-in-law Wayne Riggan; and her siblings, Selma Thornton, Ernest Ramsey, Eugene Ramsey, Claude Ramsey, Joe Ramsey and Cindy Swanson.
She is survived by: her children, Janette Riggan of Martinsville, VA, Laura Susan Hale (Randy Mercer) of Burlington, NC, Coy B Frith Jr. (Elizabeth) of Martinsville, VA, Marsha Frith of Martinsville, VA, Mary Kennon Kim Frith of Danville, VA and Odessie Gill of Martinsville, VA.; her grandchildren, Philip Riggan (Trish) of Richmond, VA, James T Riggan of Winston Salem, NC, Megan Washburn (Heidi) of Lovingston, VA, Francisco Fernandez of Philadelphia, PA, Alicia Fermandez of Rock Hill, SC, Anna Paige Umstadter of Charlottesville, VA and Ginger Umstadter of Blacksburg, VA.; her great grandchildren, Chayce, Avery, Mitchell, Carly, Zephyr, Olan, Kieran and Rowan; and her siblings, George Ramsey of Portsmouth, VA, Betty Martin of Martinsville, VA and John Ramsey of Henry, VA.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She used her census skills to help solicit donations to fund the new Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County, that was built in 1970, and later used the same skills as a poll worker during numerous elections.
