It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Anthony Massey of Martinsville, Virginia, who passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clemon L. Massey and Mary Prater Massey Marshall; his brother Sammy Massey; and his stepfather Marvin Marshall. He is survived by: his son Tim Massey (Jennifer); his sister Judy Blackwell; his stepsister Julie Massey; his brothers, Ronnie Massey (Helen), Larry Massey (Martha) and Ricky Massey (Terry); his stepbrother Lee Massey; and his grandchildren, Evan Massey, Aiden Massey and Lincoln Massey. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
