It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Millicent Rolanda Walton of Martinsville, Virginia, who passed away on February 27, 2026, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Millicent may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Millicent touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Becker Walton and William T. Walton, Sr.; and her brother William Walton, Jr.. She is survived by: her siblings, Cynthia Walton, Karen Martin and Jemal Walton; her grandchildren, Quintaja Hamlett and Quintaiz Hamlett; and her great grandchild Caden Morehead. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, her sisters.
