She is survived by: her children, Vanessa C. Penn (Tony) of Martinsville, VA, Lawrence Philpott of Ridgeway, VA and Darell Philpott of Collinsville, VA; and her grandchildren, Porsha Martin, Anthony Penn, Kia Penn, Brandi Penn and Darell Jordan Philpott. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
