Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Robert Earl Turner of Martinsville, Virginia, who passed away at the age of 86, on April 12, 2024. He was predeceased by : his parents, Edgar Ted Turner and Lena Parsons Turner; his sister Alice Turner Brown (Buck); and his grandson Joseph Martin Turner. He is survived by : his wife Diona Mitchell Turner; his son Robert A. "Tony" Turner (Jan); his grandson Robert Mitchell Turner (Morgan); his great grandchildren, Robert William Turner and Cooper James Turner; and his sister Judith "Judy" Saunders (Buddy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:50 PM at the McKee-Stone Funeral Home Chapel (9 Broad St, Martinsville, VA 24112). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
