Ronald Wayne Shotwell Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Wayne Shotwell of Martinsville, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 30, 2025 at the age of 63. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Ronald may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wayne Shotwell and Lorene Long Shotwell. He is survived by: his wife Amy R. Shotwell; his children, Shannon Shotwell and Joseph Shotwell; his stepsons, James Wimbish and Cody Liles; and his brother Kenneth Shotwell. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
