Ruth Elois Hundley Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Elois Hundley (Martinsville, Virginia), who passed away on December 5, 2025 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Elois Hundley to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hodges and Nannie Eggleston Hodges; her husband John E. Hundley; and her siblings, Bessie Acree, Jeanette Newman, C. Raymond Hodges, Josephine Anthony, Betty Roark, Sally Gamber, Norma Jean Gibbs and C. Willie Hodges.
She is survived by: her children, Edwin Hundley (Tawni), Jonathan Hundley (Kara) and Donna Hundley; and her siblings, Margaret Moore, Daisy Gibbs and Bobby Hodges. She is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Norris Funeral Services & Crematory - Martinsville Chapel (1500 Kings Mountain Rd, Martinsville, VA 24115). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Trinity Baptist Church, 2370 Snow Creek Road, Martinsville, VA 24112, in Ruth's honor.
