It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelia G. Dillard (Martinsville, Virginia), who passed away on February 3, 2026, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Alexander and Dorothy Morrison Dillard; and her sisters, Murial Dillard (Babycake) and Cecil Stone (Possum). She is survived by: her siblings, Brenda Hairston, Henry Travis Dillard, Corey Dillard (Delois) and Steven Dillard (Traketa); her close friend James Rumley; her nieces and nephews, Darwin Dillard, James Hairston, Desmond Hairston, Traveon Dillard, Takara Dillard, Tenisha Dillard, Tyana Dillard and Tashayla Dillard; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Darwin Jr., TaMya, Zyon, Aubrey, O'livyah, London, Paris, Destiny, Kaylani, Jaqueze, Daquan and Kye. She is also survived by numerous cousins, other family and friends.
