She was predeceased by: her parents, Wright Chance, Sr. and Juanita Page Chance; her husband Jerry Penn; her daughter Lashonda Lovitt; and her sister Valene.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeremy Penn and Ronnie Lovitt; her siblings, Carolyn, Rose, Antone and Wright Chance, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Malah Lovitt, Ronnie Lovitt, Jr. and Kayla Lovitt.
