She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Belmont Mitchell and Helen Tucker Mitchell; and her son William Scott Amos. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Paul Lawrence; her children, Valerie Lynn Lawrence and Brian Christopher Lawrence; her sisters, Marie Mitchell Knox, Bonnie Mitchell Sullivan and Linda Mitchell Johnson; and her grandson Daniel Amos. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
