She was predeceased by: her mother Pearl Hairston; and her sisters, Stepanie Hairston and Dalphine McGhee. She is survived by: her father Larry Pritchett; her husband Donnell Rumley; her children, Sherika L. Hairston, De'Erica D. Hairston Lawrence and Ja'Rez O. Turner of Fayetteville, NC; her siblings, Sherika Hairston of Martinsville, VA and Larry Hairston of Martinsville, VA; and her stepchildren, Lashonda Rumley of Martinsville, VA and Antwan Howard of Greensboro, NC. She is also survived by other relatives, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hairston Funeral Home (301 Fayette St, Martinsville, VA 24112). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the C. R. V. Memorial Chapel at Hairston Funeral Home (301 Fayette St, Martinsville, VA 24112).
