She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Stephens Minter and Ruth Walker Minter; her husband Joseph "Joe" D. Smith; her son Raymond Lee Elliott, Jr.; and her sisters, Doris Minter Hill and Angielene Minter Glascock.
She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Betty Jo Smith Haynes and Joyce Lee Smith Laine; her stepgranddaughter Stacey Jo Williams; and her nieces and nephews, Valerie Glascock, Karen Harris (Wayne), Russell Glascock (Linn), Bo Glascock (Pam) and Steve Hill.
