With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Terry Reid Mitchell in Martinsville, Virginia, born in Bassett, Virginia, who passed away on June 26, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Bea Mitchell; and his parents, James Clyde Mitchell and Elva B. Mitchell. He is survived by: his children, Kelli Mitchell-Digges (Sasha Digges, Jr.) and Christopher Mitchell (Holly Mitchell); his grandchildren, Mitchell, Bryce Digges, Jack, Madeleine and Brynn Mitchell; and his sisters, Mona Lindsey, Nonnye Durham and Peggy Coetzee.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the First United Methodist Church (146 E Main St, Martinsville, VA 24112). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
