He is survived by: his children, Vernika Watson (Michael, Sr.) of Charlotte, NC and Torrey "Big Toe" Penn (Sonya); his siblings, Jennifer Diane Wade of Charlotte, NC and Reginald Thomas (Denise) of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Mikiyah Watson, Michael Watson, Jr., Maliek Watson, Tevin Penn, T'Mesha Penn, Misty Osborne and Drema Eggleston; his stepgrandchildren, Alexus Pilson and Aaliyah Pilson; his sister-in-law Rebecca Thomas; and his great-nephew Trenton Wade. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
