She was predeceased by: her husband Solomon Staples; her daughter Sylvia Loretta Staples; her grandchild De'Undra Oilver; and her siblings, Sam Henry Schoolfiled, John Jack Schoofield, Roy Schoofield, Alvertia Hairston, Gracie Coombs, Inell Smith, Thelma Easter and Adzonia Claybrooks.
She is survived by: her children, Minister Andrew Staples, Kenneth Staples (Joyce), Evangelist Fannie Mae Martin (James) of Martinsville, VA and Elder Patsy Oliver (Maynard) of Martinsville, VA. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
