Hilda Solero Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on April 27, 2026, at the age of 87, Hilda Solero of Massanutten, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ramon Nieves and Santiaga Ruiz; her husband Isaias Solero; her siblings, Charlie Nieves, Nino Nieves and George Nieves; her granddaughter Courtney Leopold; and her great grandchildren, Caleb Amavizca and Zion Johnson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Miguel Nieves, Sandy Nieves, Ephram Nieves, Blanca Buckner and Milta Nieves; her children, Ivan Solero (Joyce) of Burlington, Marilyn Hauser (Van) of Mount Pleasant and Shelly Morris (Eric) of Massanutten, Virginia.; her grandchildren, Ryan Solero, Franklin Luongo, Taylor Luongo, Megan Morris Haggerty (Tyler), Melinda Morris Amavizca (Quincy) and Mallory Morris Johnson (Rick); her great grandchildren, Calista, Stryder, Maddox, Riley and Lainey Amavizca; and her grandchildren, Raegan, Kendall, Blakely, Carson Haggerty, Judah, Joel and Noa Johnson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Gospel South America, an organization dedicated to raising and training pastors, missionaries, and church planters to fulfill the Great Commission throughout South America. Donations may be made at gospelsouthamerica.com.
