With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edna Marie Thompson of Mathews, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 9, 2025 at the age of 88. She was loved and cherished by many people including her loving children, grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home (417 11th St, West Point, VA 23181). Viewing will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Ebenezer Baptist Church (3601 Buckley Hall Rd, Cobbs Creek, VA 23035). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
